Rescue Diver Course

The Rescue Diver Course is designed to develop the necessary knowledge and skills for individuals to effectively perform a rescue/ assist, to manage diving accidents, render proper first aid, and to qualify for the PADI Divemaster program or Master Scuba Diver Program.  This course will expand your knowledge and experience level; teaching divers to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well-being of other divers.  Although the subject matter of this course is serious, it is a fun and rewarding course, and a great way to build your confidence and progress your diving career.

To enroll in the Rescue Course, divers must have completed the Advanced Open Water Diver Course, or an equivalent rating.  Divers must also have completed a sanctioned course is CPR and First Aid, within the past two years.  Students must be 12 years or older.

This is a four classroom, two pool session course, culminating in a two day Open Water.  To secure a spot in the class, please contact Under Water Works; a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required.  The class size is limited to ten people, and is first come first served.

The cost of this course is $250, which includes manual and certification materials.  Under Water Works supplies the use of tanks and weight belts for the pool sessions only.  Students are responsible for all weekend expenses (gas, food, accommodations, air fills) and complete scuba gear.
