Under Water Works offers a full range of SCUBA classes starting with Basic Open Water Diver and progressing through Assistant Instructor.  We believe in being honest with the actual cost of classes; our Basic Open Water Course includes all the course materials, pool time, and equipment and we DO NOT require that you purchase any equipment during your pool sessions; students must have their own mask, fins and snorkel for the open water weekend.  Your instructor will provide you several different types of equipment to try during your training, striving to find the gear that fits you best for your Open Water Dives. This insures that when you're buying your own gear, you already know what works best for you.  The only additional costs for this class are your expenses for the Open Water weekend, including food, lodging, gas, and 2 air fills (aprox. $12)

When shopping for a facility through which to train, we encourage you to ask what the actual cost will be.  Shops that advertise SCUBA lessons for $99 are not telling you that you will be required to purchase equipment, books, pool time, as well as to rent gear for your Open Water Dives.  Ask what is and isn't included.  We encourage you to call around, because we believe that you'll find the best value, and highest level of training, right here with us.

Ask these questions when shopping for a training facility:

How much is the class?

Are the books and educational supplies included?

If the educational supplies are not included, how much are they?

Is the equipment included in the class price?

If the equipment is not included, how much is the rental fee?

Will I have to rent gear for the checkout dives?

How much will the equipment rental be for the checkout dives?

What equipment will I be expected to purchase for the class?

How much will the required equipment cost?

Will I be charged for pool time? If so, what is the charge?
